Hedy Lamarr was an American- Austrian actress and had done a very notable role in her professional career. She was born in Austria on November9, 1913 and had blessed with beauty and grace so that’s why she was known for her beauty in Europe; she was only one child of her parents. Her father was a Baptist ancestor. She was keenly interested to play piano and ballet. Her real name was Hedwing Eva Maria Kiesler.
Hedy commenced her acting career in 1933 by working in a film ‘Ecstasy’. Besides working in films she had meetings with technicians and businessmen, in which one of the talented mathematically Hedy, taught her military techniques. Later she moved to Paris and was cast in glamorous and seductive roles in films. Her most prominent films are: Show Business at War, The Strange Women, The Eternal Female, Ziegfeld Girl, The Female Animal and more.
Hedy had also a command of music and wrote for Fernand Leger’s, which was an abstract film in 1924. She wanted to join the National Inventors Council but someone suggested her to help in raising funds as a celebrity to sell “War Bonds” and she was able to raise $7,000,000 in an event.
Hedy had many marriages and romances with her Co stars and others. Her last marriage was in 1963 with Lewis J Boies who was a lawyer and later in 1965 she was divorced. In the same year, she was arrested in raid in Los Angeles and charged $21.48. She died because of natural cause in January 2000.
