Jennifer Tilly Biography

Jennifer Tilly is an American actress recognized on an international level, well documented by her work in television-film. She was born in California on 16th September 1958. Her birth name was Jennifer E. Chan. Her father Harry Chan was working as a salesman in a car showroom and her mother Patricia was a stage actress and teacher as well in a local school. She was of Chinese Descent. Her parents got divorced when she was five and later brought up by her mother. Soon her mother remarried and got divorced again. She attended Belmont High School and graduated from Stephens College with a degree in Theater.

Jennifer started her career in 1983 from a television show “Hill Street Blues”, later had done many series with television and was also nominated for Best Supporting actress for Academy Award.

In 1994, she had a done a mini role in “The Getaway”. She had also given voice in “Disney: The Haunted Mansion”. Besides that she had performed in a Broadway play “One Shoe” and won a Theater World Award for her unforgettable acting.

Jennifer had also given her debut manifestation in Chinese film “Christina Yao” in 2009. She had won a World Series of Poker armlet from an event held in Texas in 2005, later she won a Third World Poker sightsee and also be presented GSN poker Royale chain. She came into view in ESPN’S Poker Equalizer as a superstar and talked about her concern in poking rather than acting. Jennifer married to a producer Sam Simon; their relation remained from 1984 till 1991. Recently she is dating with a professional poker Phil Laak.
