Marina Sirtis Biography

Marina Sirtis is an American-Greek British versatile actress and was well known for her film Star Trek: The Next Generation. She was born in England on 29TH March 1955 and her parents worked as a tailor’s assistant. In 1986, her family migrated to the United States of America but afterwards she was raised in London. She was the eldest one in her other siblings. She went to the Guildhall School of Drama and Music to study Acting as her parents wanted her to pursue an acting career.

Marina started her career in 1976 by working in “Connaught Theater” later she worked with Star Trek and was highly appreciated by her followers and from there she got a high success in her future and had connected for seven seasons with Star Trek. After some years, she had performed in many television films. She acted the role of a prostitute in “Blind Date” film who was killed by a madman.

Marina voiced for Disney Animated series “Gargoyles” in 1994-96 including another animated series “Team Atlantis”. She also enrolled herself in science fictions films “The Outer Limits, Earth and many others. She has also done theatrical films which were liked by the fans.

Marina also won Academy Award in 2004 and also gave voice for video PC games. Currently she was doing work with television episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy”. Marina married to Michael Lamper who plays rock guitar in 1992 and had no child. In 2010, she voiced for comic book “Queen Bee” which was an animated series.
