Monica Potter Biography

Monica Potter was born in Ohio. Her father has the credit of inventing the first flame resistant car wax and his name was Paul Brokaw. Her mother was a secretary by profession and her name was Nancy. Monica was named Monica Gregg Brokaw at the time of her birth. She was born on 30th June 1971. She graduated from Elucid High School.

Since her childhood Monica wanted to be a nun and an actress as well. At the young age of twelve Potter began modelling. She appeared in a number of commercials and finally decided to take acting as her profession. In the year 1994 she appeared in a daytime soap opera named The Young and the Restless. She appeared in some good feature films like Patch Adams. Robin Williams and Nicolas Cage were also a part of the film. In the year 1998, she appeared in another film named Without Limits. She appeared in a television series named Boston Legal but she left the show in the second season.

In the year 2001, she appeared in two films namely Along Came a Spider and Head Over Heels. These days Monica is seen playing the role of Kristina Baverman in a comedy drama named Parenthood. Monica got married to Tom Potter in the year 1990. The two got separated in the year 1998 and the couple has two sons. In the year 2005, Monica got married again. This time she has married an orthopedic surgeon. His name is Daniel Christopher Allison. The couple had their first child in the year 2005.
