Rosamund Pike Biography

Rosamund Pike is an English actress and well known for her roles in television-film. She was born on January 27, 1979 in London England UK. She was the only kid of her parents, her father-mother both are Opera singers and currently her father was working as a professor at Birmingham Conservatoire. She followed her parent’s activities a lot and was travelling all across Europe and knows German-French.

She won a scholarship from Badminton School, and had done production work during her studies with National Youth Theater “Romeo and Juliet” and from there an agent helped her a lot in embracing her acting career. She appeared in Wadham College of Oxford and studied English Literature. She had done many plays of Shakespeare and from that role in 2001 she earned a 2nd upper class degree.

Rosamund continued her studies while working in the Water stone bookshop and at that time she was offered a role in “Die another Day” and was given an esteem of BAFTA in James Bond drama series. Her films are: Love in a Gold Climate, Promised Land, Bond Girls is Forever, Women in Love and many others. Rosamund had given her voice for the lead role in a film “Jack Boots on Whitehall” and also to the audio book of James Bond “The Spy who loved me”.

Rosamund had two year relation with Co star Simon Woods but she was engaged to Joe Wright who was a film director in 2007 and got married in 2008. Currently, she was living in Kensington Gardens which was situated in West End of London.
